XTAR VC2-S Charger

The all new XTAR VC2-S is now available. This is an upgraded version of the VC2 Plus Master and will be its replacement on the market.

This charger is capable of charging two cells at 1A and one cell at 2A. Xtar chargers are compatible with the new 20700 & 21700 formats. (See compatible list below)

Features in the XTAR VC2-S compared to the older VC2 Plus Master ?

• Optional charge rate (0.5A/1A/2A) giving you more control over your charging requirements.
• Updated Display - The VC2-S features a more modern and far better display. Showing more information than ever before.
• Power Bank Mode - Charge devices such as phone, tablet etc. using 18650 cells.
• Internal Resistance Detection

This charger will effectively auto-adjust the charging current based on the cells chemistry and condition (even when 1A is selected). You may find that cells are also charged at 0.5A initially and then increased to 1A/2A mid way through the charge. This is a safety feature - and helps protect excessive heat build and prolong the life of the charging cell.

A mAh readout function allows you to inspect the current condition of fully charged cells. However, it is worth noting this function only calculates what is added to a cell, and not what is already on the cell - to get a more accurate reading cells should be fully depleted, then fully recharged to gain a more accurate reading.
