Here at Cloudstix we pride ourselves in customer service and bringing our customers breaking news as it develops with regards vaping.
In recent reports, there have been tragic events in the USA that has wrongly linked deaths and health concerns to vaping. This week we’ve had a huge increase in the number of customers showing a concern about the safety of Vaping E Liquid and the products we sell in a direct response to the press / social media posts regarding the incident in the USA. We hope to answer your questions and give you peace of mind via this important press release.
According to evidence and reports the victims that have suffered health issues or sadly died in the USA, have all been linked to a black market THC Vape cartridges. These cartridges are not legal or even a nicotine based vape that we sell or you vape. THC is the active ingredient found in cannabis to deliver the sensation of being high. Vitamin E Acetate, according to reports, has been used to thicken this illegal product and it has been found at very high levels through the many cases reporting people having bad health issues or losing their lives. There has been no reported deaths or illnesses through nicotine vaping!
In the UK, TPD law came into effect in May 2016. All vape vendors / manufacturers must follow guidelines and submit data to the MHRA before we are able to sell the products that we do. E-Liquid that contains Nicotine must be stripped down and all information related to ingredients and toxology is sent to the government to declare it safe before it can appear in the UK market. This whole statement of “Nobody knows what’s in it” is false and a thing of the past. All the brands / products that have been submitted to the MHRA are available to the public so you can check this out. (link supplied in footer notes)
What we would like to remind you of is how many confirmed deaths there have been from regular smoking related illnesses.
The CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) reported last year that 480,000 people passed away as a result of smoking traditional cigarettes. That’s nearly half a million people.
In the same instance the reported number of deaths related to vaping legal Nicotine E Liquid stands at ZERO.
Published on 19th August 2015, Public Health England released an article through gov.uk about how e-cigarettes are 95% less harmful than tobacco. Following the sad events in the USA, Public Heath England have underlined their message that vaping, safe, legal E Liquid purchased from a reputable Vendor is 95% less harmful than traditional smoking.
We shall post a number of links below which shall allow you to read the reports / evidence and ultimately make your own minds up on what / who / why mainstream media are so quick to condemn vaping. We hope we have answered the most pressing questions you have about the reports in the USA and that you feel more at ease enjoying your vape this weekend.
