Hustle – Finally, a real deal Cherry Cola E Liquid that completely out hustles the others in the game. Zero sign of the usual budget cola flavour found in other brands, this somehow, brings the premium taste of Cherry Cola into the vaping world for the very first time.
LL Cool Slush – Wow! What an epic Lemon and Lime E Liquid slush we have here! Delivers the perfect balance of both main flavour profiles, adds a wonderful layer of ice and the finished product is something that will blow minds. We are a massive fan of neon green on black as well, therefore on shelves, this bottle looks outstanding.

Urban Tropix – Incredibly, the guys at Steep Lyfe admit a mistake was made which led to the creation of this amazing fruit flavoured E liquid, originally this was supposed to be a 3 fruit combo, however the mixing team forgot to add the third flavour in one of the blind taste tests. Of course the two flavoured combo of Satsuma & Pineapple came out top marks for the taste tests and the rest is history.
Let’s jump into Ella’s interview and find out a little more about the new Steep Lyfe flavours on offer.
Ella: Thanks for taking the time to speak to me today, so Steep Lyfe, after what feels like a very long time, you have finally added to your line-up. What is the inspiration for this and why did it take so long to get released ?
Steep Lyfe: Cheers Ella, thanks for having us. Yes we agree it did take us a long time to make our comeback. I think one of the main reasons behind this was the never ending wave of Bar Salts and Bar style shortfills that flooded the market. People seemed to get swept away in that hype and just demanded the sweetest Blue Sour Raspberry a person could make. Therefore, we decided to take our time with our next release in the hope that the consumer would eventually get bored of the same old juice and start looking for something else. We believe we have hit that time now, hence why the new flavours are now available.
Ella: Totally understandable and smart way of doing things however, due to the gap between your last release being so wide, do you fear you may have lost some relevance and market share ?
Steep Lyfe: Absolutely! However we made a decision not to follow the trend and release the same old flavours in different packaging just to stay in the conscious of the masses. Way bigger names than us did it and their ranges still were not a success against the wave of Chinese Liquid that has taken over the market. As E Liquid brands tried to live with the disposable threat to business we believed we had enough with our core clients to sustain us until the hype had passed. We are hearing more and more vape shops around the country are not wanting to take anymore of bar style liquids on and therefore now is the time to strike, or so to speak.
Ella: Okay so looking at the new flavours, what are the inspiration around them and are you seeing a favourite in early market trends ?
Steep Lyfe: We took a long look at what was on offer, both in bar style and original forms of E-Liquid, we then drew up a list of what we could do better and what hasn’t been tapped into yet. Hustle for example, we describe as real deal cherry cola! We do so because we firmly believe there is a vast difference compared to all other vape cola’s on the market. What we noticed is that there are cola’s, they do taste of cola but we believed they lean more toward budget cola flavours. So we set out to create a proper cola and we think we have done an impressive job with that.
LL Cool Slush was something we had seen requested during research time and time again. Lemon and lime, when done right, is a wonderful base to vape with. We wanted to get the balance spot on as we have found other Lemon and Limes to be heavy on one or the other. The coolant was also important to us, we needed enough to compliment the perfect balance we had created and not destroy it by giving the end user brain freeze etc. So far LL Cool Slush has been the front runner in terms of popularity and so we think we nailed this niche in the market.
Urban Tropix was supposed to be a 3 flavoured combo. Sastuma, pineapple & one other fruit, we thought this hadn’t been done and was a break from the norm. We always blind taste test new flavours in the works, when we sat down to test, the group all selected number 4 sample as the best. It turns out a mistake had been made and sample 4 had just the two fruits in it. We abandoned the 3 fruit combo for the two as we believed it to be better. Finally OHM Bongo is a throw back flavour and as we hadn’t done anything tropically in the past, we thought we would have a good crack at it. From the moment you open the bottle and smell the flavour you will know we got this one perfect.
Ella: I have to agree, Hustle is by far the most authentic cola flavour i have ever tried however, my favourite is a coin toss between LL Cool Slush or Urban Tropix. I also want to touch on the other major changes with the 4 new flavours. You have changed the mix ratio and the sweetener haven’t you ?
Steep Lyfe: We are very happy you like them Ella. In terms of the mix ratio and sweetener, you are correct. We wanted to make the 4 new flavours accessible to anybody and not exclusive for the sub ohm market. Therefore we made the decision to go with a 50 / 50 mix ratio and we tweaked the sweetener so the flavours still carry through perfectly, without destroying non sub ohm coils within days. It is a decision that seems to have paid off, we now have more users of our juice from the pod system / regular tank users, all of which have been well received thus far.
Ella: We have seen the 4 new flavours launched in shortfill only so far. No doubt you will have demand to add them to your nic salt range, one could ask why have they not released already and is there a plan to get them to market any time soon?
Steep Lyfe: Great question! Look, the vape industry is not as wealthy as it used to be. We have to work smart and with caution as our budget is not the same as some of the giants in the industry. When launching any new flavour we will always gage the response from shortfills first. The reason of course is the costs which can spiral when dealing with TPD compliance for 10ml Nicotine contained products. What we don’t want is to blindly release a flavour that we think is amazing but the public don’t fancy. Therefore once demand reaches a certain threshold we will make our move and transition to 10ml salts.
Ella: So how close to the threshold are we ? I would really like to have an LL Cool Slush in 10mg you see.
Steep Lyfe: Ha Ha, okay we hear you. Looking at the market data so far, we don’t think it will be too long that you have to wait.
